We tend to think of a symptom as a pesky little problem that we need to get rid of. I disagree! I think that our symptoms are a gift to alert us that something is wrong. I liken it to the “check engine” light coming on in our car. That is a friendly little notification that something is wrong under the hood. We don’t pull out a baseball bat and smash out the light! We look under the hood, or take our car to a mechanic to check things out for us.
Having a symptom such as a rash, or pain, or heartburn is common. It is not “the problem” though. It is a downstream indication that something is wrong upstream. Going to drugs and surgery to get rid of the symptom does not solve the problem. However, if we take the time to discover what the upstream imbalance is and correct it, the symptom will automatically go away. Isn’t that a much better way to deal with it??
Let me help you discover what your upstream imbalances are!
